My story
I was born and raised in Aruba. In 2012, I moved from Aruba to the Netherlands with the desire to study, work, and build a better life. I know how valuable it is when that opportunity is within reach. I believe that everyone, regardless of where you come from, deserves the chance to build a better life.
What drives me
My motivation comes from my own experience. I know how it feels to come to a new country, seek new opportunities, and find your way in a new environment. I also know how valuable it is when those opportunities are within reach.
That realization is at the core of why I commit myself to a city where everyone, whether you come from far away or were born here, gets the chance and space to build a better life. I believe that diversity is a strength, not a challenge.
Especially the Caribbean community and other groups that less frequently make their voices heard deserve a representative who understands and defends their interests.

My connection to The Hague
The Hague has become my home. Here I have not only built a new life but also developed a deep connection with the city and its residents. I see the challenges that people face here daily, but also the strength and resilience of the community.
What I find so special about The Hague is the diversity. People from all corners of the world come together here, and that makes our city rich and dynamic. But I also see that not everyone gets the same opportunities, and that is something I want to change.
I want The Hague to be a city where everyone feels at home, where everyone gets the chance to grow and flourish. That means affordable housing, green neighborhoods, good education, and equal opportunities in the labor market.
